Microwave Heating
Pads
Microwaveable heating pad is a heating pad you can
rely on for your shoulder pains
Microwave
heating pads are essentially heating pads that
people used to treat their commons neck and shoulder pains. They act the same
way as shoulder heating pad or neck heating pad. The only difference is that
they can be heated up in your microwave oven and many people often make them
into microwaveable bags.
Microwave heating pads are very
popular and have been in use for many years. Because they take only about 3 minutes
to heat up using microwave, many people find it easy to use and convenient to buy
it and keep in the house. For anyone not possessing microwave ovens, no worries as
they can easily be heated up in your crock pot or the oven as well, although it
will take a little longer to heat up. Just a note of caution, if you used the oven,
you should not set the temperature higher than 200
degrees.
Once a microwaveable heating
pad has been heated up, the heat in the heating pad can
be retained for about half an hour to an hour.
Microwave heating pads look a
lot like small pillows made from a soft cloth on the outside while using
material of its inside to help retain the heat. They are very useful to people
who do not like to go near any electric devices especially the older
folks.
A microwaveable heating
pad can be home-made too because all that it requires
is putting a particular filler inside two pieces of woven soft cloth
depending on your preference like corn, uncooked rice or flaxseeds to make
into a small heating bag.
Microwave heating pads can also
function as a cooling pad too and you just need to keep them in your freezer for
your use when you need it.
